Here's a detailed guide on how to get there:
To embark on your trek, begin from Moondock Luxury Camp, which is approximately 1.9 km away. Walk until you reach Melanting Cottages. Once there, enter their parking area and follow the riverbank for about 500 meters. You'll come across a junction marked with a sign pointing towards Red Coral / Munduk Waterfall. A mere 100-meter walk from that junction will lead you directly to Munduk WaterfalL.         GOOGLE MAP

Waterfall Trekking Experience

Munduk is renowned for its breathtaking waterfall trekking routes, offering one of the most authentic nature experiences in North Bali. From Moondock Luxury Camp, you can begin a scenic loop trekking trail that takes you through lush mountain landscapes and connects you to some of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls.

Along this trail, you will discover at least four stunning waterfalls: Belong Waterfall, Red Coral Waterfall, Labuhan Kebo Waterfall, and Melanting Waterfall. The complete loop typically takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on your pace and how long you wish to enjoy each stop.

The trek finishes in the center of Munduk village, where you can relax and enjoy charming village views, traditional local cuisine, and several cozy restaurants and cafés. Throughout the journey, you will walk through coffee, clove, cacao plantations, and rice fields, offering a true glimpse into the daily life and agricultural heritage of the village.

There is no need to worry about refreshments, as local warungs (small family-run cafés) are available along the trail, where you can stop for lunch, fresh coffee, or a relaxing break.

On the way back with the same path to the Redcoral / Munduk waterfall back to the jungtion you will find sign to Labuhan Kebo is about 500 m from the jungtion to get there

Continue this energizing trek to arrive at stunning and soothing Laangan Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Munduk. Afterwards, return to the hostel via a different path with clove spice gardens on the way back.

Degree : Moderate, somewhat steep. Please note that there are 350 concrete steps on the way to reach Laangan Waterfall
